Maurizio Sarri looking to sell two attackers to make way for Argentine superstar

Maurizio Sarri is planning a clear out of Chelsea strikers as he looks to make Gonzalo Higuain a Blue. A report from the Mirror claims that the new Chelsea boss is going to sell Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata ahead of the new season.

Juventus might have signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid but they could be willing to sell their 30-year-old striker Higuain.

Sarri is willing to add Morata to the deal to bring Higuain to the Bridge after the Spaniard failed to adjust to English football last season.

The report claims that AC Milan are also interested in Morata, who was signed from Real Madrid for a fee of £58m at the start of last season. Morata too is looking for a route out of Chelsea, which could work in our favour as we look to revamp under Sarri.

Alvaro Morata

While selling Morata might make some sense given that he didn’t really cut the mustard at Stamford Bridge, Giroud is a good player who we should look to keep.

The former Arsenal man gives us a second plan should things not go right for us but he is not the most mobile strikers and that could be one reason why Sarri wants him out.

However, the Frenchman is great in the air and after joining us in the winter window, he was one of our best players, so we should try and keep the French World Cup winner and give him another chance to perform for us, this time under Sarri.
