Bad news for Chelsea fans as Blues star could leave the club if Conte remains as manager

Willian

Willian is a target for Manchester United and will leave the side should Antonio Conte remain as the manager of Chelsea next season.

Willian has been one of the most consistent players for the Blues since joining us from Shakhtar Donetsk five years ago but Graves believes the deal will be done only if the Italian remains in the hot seat at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking during the Transfer Talk podcast (h/t The Daily Star) Graves said:

“There is an interest from Man Utd in bringing Willian to Old Trafford. It would be a sensational move. We think he would like to leave Chelsea if Conte remains the manager at Chelsea.”

Willian has worked with Mourinho before when the current United man was our manager a few years ago.

Chelsea left in limbo over their manager

The entire situation with the manager’s post seems to be playing a major role in how we conduct our transfers this season.

Conte seems to be going out and the only thing left is to bring in a new manager but that process seems to have come to a grinding halt, which is not the best news for the players and fans.

We have been linked with the likes of Maurizio Sarri and Slavisa Jokanovic and frankly, someone apart from Conte should be leading us next season. It will be a major surprise if Conte does remain at the helm of the Blues and that could see Willian heading out of the Bridge.
