Chelsea reject loan offer from La Liga club, want 21-year-old youngster to join a PL side – reports

Chelsea are ready to loan out one of their brightest players in order for them to gain more experience, even though we have been searching for a number of players to join our side.

A tweet from Kristof Terreur suggests that Spanish club Leganes want to sign Charly Musonda on loan but that Chelsea want the youngster to move to another club.

The tweet also claims that we want the Belgian to actually move to a Premier League club, which does make sense as he has already played a few games for us this season.

The 21-year-old has played in six games for us this season and has a goal and an assist to his name. His performances have been decent, to say the least, and Leganes are willing to pay his entire wages. But moving to a Premier League club would be the right thing for him.

Musonda is one player that should be playing regularly for a Premier League club but it is impossible to break into this Chelsea side unless you are at the top of your game.

The 21-year-old has been on loan earlier too, with him impressing at Real Betis. It is the right time for him to move away from Chelsea again and gain more experience. The move in the January window would be perfect for both parties but Spain should not be Musonda’s destination and maybe a move to one of the smaller Premier League sides would be ideal.

Musonda is one of the brightest players we have in our academy and even though we are in the market for a couple of players, Musonda’s departure should not be dependant on players coming in or going out. We do need to bring in players from the academy, who can do the job for us in the coming seasons and Musonda is one player that should be in our team for a number of years.

The attacker can play on either wing and in midfield too and this move away from the club has to work out for him if he intends to stick around and remain a Chelsea player in the future.
