Tottenham Hotspur were back to winning ways in their final Champions League match this term as they came from behind to grab a see through CSKA Moscow 3-1 at Wembley. Dele Alli, Harry Kane and an own goal from Akinfeev was more than enough. The overall performance from the team was commendable, they completely dominated the visiting team in every department.
The victory, however, was only a consolation prize and entrance ticket to Europa League, having finished 3rd in the league, behind Monaco and Bayern Leverkusen. Besides the performance, the return of Toby Alderweireld after a lengthy injury is another big boost.
In the 61st minute, Mauricio Pochettino brought on French midfielder Georges-Kevin NKoudou for Son Heung-min. The 21-year-old was signed from Marseille from transfer deadline day yet has struggled to bag playing minutes.
He was deployed down the left-hand side for the home side and he did put on an encouraging show. Some flashes of neat touches and link up play with the attacking players certainly put his fitness concern to the bay and he could be in contention to feature once again in their next match.
After the match, filled with cheerful vibes, NKoudou posted two tweets. The first one was something common.
Sure we aimed for better but it's a good way end the UCL … now lets focus on what's next 💪✊ thanks for all your messages #COYS

The second was hilarious and caught the attention of many.
RT for Nkoudou fav for Catinho 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/6eTp3xYcZM

He compared a photo of him aiming for the goal alongside the viral picture of Catinho – name coming from Cat and Coutinho. The furry cat took social media by storm with a pose that befits a footballer’s technique. NKoudou attached a message: RT for Nkoundou fav for Catinho. And sadly, the numbers are favouring the one of the left side.
Amidst the series of comments, popped up Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi, who is known for habitually being active in social media. The Belgian international stated that he is not voting for the rival club player with a few laughing emoji. Both players were best pals during their time in Marseille and they have been tweeting about each other for some time already and nothing have been short of interesting. A friendly rivalry that rather mellows down the real rivalry between the two sides.
😂😂😂 mdrrr vu ou elle a fini je prefere le chat !!!

The audacity of you to compare yourself to a legend like Catinho. Catinho actually gets solid playing time.

The France midfielder needs to work harder to surpass the cat’s following, perhaps if the ball ended at the back of the net, things could have gone the other way.
Next up for the team from White Hart Lane is an away trip to face Manchester United and if the result favours NKoundou’s side, most tweets can be expected. While Chelsea welcomed West Brom to Stamford Bridge. Both players will be biding their time to make way into the first team and make an impact, especially the striker.
