Video: David Luiz Shows Off Some Grooves In Dressing Room And Costa All Smiles After Their Vital Victory Over Spurs

Chelsea returned to the peak of the Premier League table after a commendable 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge. The morale-boosting win didn’t come easy, though, as the home side were palpably subpar in the first half until Pedro canceled off Christian Eriksen’s outstanding goal in the 10th minute with a curled strike that was equally impressive 5 minutes before the interval.

Performance-wise, if the first half was in the hands of Spurs, the second saw them losing grip, allowing Chelsea to totally run the next 45 minutes. Antonio Conte’s men wasted no time and continually piled pressure on the away side’s backline which turned fruitful in the 52nd minute when Victor Moses’ clinical finish clawed out maximum points for his team and usurped the top spot from Liverpool, who secured a 2-0 home win over a dogged Sunderland earlier.

This London Derby triumph was nothing but delightful for everyone in blue which see them relish 7 wins on the bounce. Conte’s energetic and passionate reactions at the dugout, as well as the players greeting the fans with a wide smile on their face after the final whistle, certainly sums up the value of the victory. The celebration did extend until the dressing room too and David Luiz, who returned to the club in summer, showed off some grooves in a video that has made quite a storm in social media.

He did post a picture earlier with some of his teammates, rather a simple one, no precursor to the upcoming video. Moments later, this solo dance came out of the blue. A joyful one to watch, unless you’re not a part of the winning side. Meanwhile, Diego Costa who recorded and posted the video did upload a photo of himself enjoying a cold beer in the same room.

Come on Chelsea! #3points #workinghard

Staying in track with Luiz and celebrations, rewinding back to March 2015, his celebration at Stamford Bridge was remembered for all wrong reasons when he reeled off with sheer delight after scoring the equaliser for PSG in a Champions League showdown. He was abused for his acts in social media and even a number of Chelsea faithful were unhappy when the club agreed to resign him recently. However, he did apologize for the celebration back then and being a pivotal part of Chelsea’s backline today, this video will be more acceptable for the fans.

Unfortunately, Luiz seemed to be one of the last players alongside Costa after the showers with the room vastly being empty. Perhaps, his teammates could join him next time if they continue their sublime form against Manchester City, who are sniffing right behind at third spot, with only a point gap.

The Brazilian, just like his team, showed signs of erraticness and picked up a yellow card in the first half yet turned things around brilliantly in the second half. However, those first half moments could cost heavier against teams like City, who have one of the best firepowers in the league.
