Brilliant Kante: The Best And The Worst Rated Chelsea Players vs Manchester United

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea managed to teach his former manager Jose Mourinho a lesson this weekend as the Blues put 4 past a helpless Red Devils side on Tuesday. Pedro, Kante, Hazard and Cahill were all on target on the night as Chelsea breezed past their opponents to win their third consecutive game after back to back losses earlier in the season. The Blues are now climbing the points table and are currently at the 4th place and Conte will hope that his team can keep up the good work from early this season. Here are the player ratings for the Blues in this 4-0 victory over United:

Here are the player ratings for the Blues in this 4-0 victory over United:

Thibaut Courtois (6):

Was hardly tested on the night but came up with a couple of great saves when called upon .

Cesar Azpilicueta (7):

A commanding performance at the back as a part of the back-3 for Conte. Azpilicueta managed to keep the United attackers away for long periods in the game.

David Luiz (5):

Was reckless on more than one occasion and could have cost the match but Chelsea were too good on the night for his mistakes to make a difference.

Gary Cahill (7):

Showed how important the victory was with his celebration after scoring the second goal on the night as he put in a decent performance to hold on to clean sheet for his side.

Victor Moses (7):

His usual self on the flank as he provided an extra number at both ends of the field giving his side the balance between defense and attack on the night.

N Golo Kante (8):

An industrious performance in the midfield where he ran the game for his side and also picked up a goal for his troubles on the night.

Nemanja  Matic (8):

Arguably his best game so far this season, Matic put in a solid shift in the midfield and also provided the assist for Hazard’s goal on an impressive night.

Marcos Alonso (7):

Stuck to his task well on the flank and though showed some nerves, he was solid when called upon on the night against a weak Manchester United defense.

Pedro (7):

Industrious and creative on the night as the former Barcelona man showed signs of some great attacking flair early this season also picking up a goal for his side.

Eden Hazard (9):

Played on a completely different level on the night as he tormented the United defense by picking up a goal and creating a number of chances for his side on the night.

Diego Costa (7):

Stuck to his task by leading the line for his side as he provided an attacking outlet constantly. However, was not good enough on the night to get his name on the score sheet.

Subs:

Michy Batshuayi (6):

Came in with just over 10 minutes to play and created a chance or two to prove himself on the night.

Willian (6):

Came in to the game at a similar time and freed his legs, trying to cover every corner of the field for a winning cause.
