Chelsea have brought in reinforcements at the midfield and in the front line and now the Blues manager Antonio Conte is looking to bring in Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia this summer.
Reports suggest that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has set aside £30m as the starting offer for the player, this although will not be enough to trigger the player’s release clause of £48m at the club.
Chelsea will be facing competition from Arsenal and Serie A club AC Milan for the player’s signature as both the clubs are keen on signing the player and are keeping close tabs on the situation.
Milan have already signed Gustavo Gomez in the squad this summer and are looking to add more players in the defense to bolster their back line.
Chelsea have brought in Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante in the squad this summer and with Conte in the picture Mustafi may just be heading to the Stamford Bridge this summer.
