The Blues have completed the signing of two players, namely Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante into the squad and are further linked with more players for a potential transfer move over the summer.

The Blues are interested in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez into the squad, as confirmed by the player’s agent. The player has been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge and has been tipped as a possible replacement for Asmir Begovic. According to the reports from the Goal Chelsea’s interest on the player is confirmed.

Lopez, who lost his place in the Milan side last season, has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge and has been tipped as a possible replacement for Asmir Begovic. The Blues’ interest in the Spaniard is “concrete.”

“[An offer] has not yet been made, but the interest is real and concrete,” the goalkeeper’s agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, told Calciomercato.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has stressed on keeping the Blues Striker Diego Costa in the squad for the 2016-2017 campaign as the Italian manager insists that he has plans for the player. Costa has been linked with a move to his former club Atletico Madrid or some time now, however nothing has come off the link-up.

Telegraph Sport further revealed that Chelsea sent one letter to Atletico warning them about their previous comments regarding Costa and are prepared to make contact again with a more strongly-worded rebuke if the Spanish club maintain their aggressive transfer tactics.

Chelsea will not be signing Antonio Candreva this summer until and unless the Blues boss clears a space in the squad for a wide player. The Lazio winger has been impressive during the Euros 2016, however, Conte’s keenness to keep Juan Cuadrado in the squad for the next season has stopped Chelsea from pursuing the winger.

Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello has been dropping hints about a move abroad since a transfer to Napoli stalled earlier this month.

Pastorello is very close to Conte having unofficially brokered the deal when Roman Abramovich made his move to lure the former Juventus manager to Stamford Bridge.
