It has been a while since Chelsea have been linked with Napoli Defender Kalidou Koulibaly and according to the recent reports, the Blues are willing to meet Napoli’s demand of £30m so as to enable the player’s move to the Stamford Bridge this summer.
After an excellent season at Napoli the Senegalese player has many clubs flocking around for his signature the most notable of them being Arsenal and Manchester United.
While Napoli want to keep their star player, the negotiations for an improved deal has stopped between the club and the player hence letting the Senegalese player talk to Chelsea representatives with an intended transfer to the Stamford Bridge.
While the player did have an excellent season at Napoli one may wonder if the player will be consistent in his form if he does move to Chelsea, inconsistency and a one-season wonder is not what Chelsea need at this point of time.
