Chelsea have gotten a boost in pursuing their target Arda Turan as FC Barcelona are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Turan who is currently rated at £23m.
Reports from Mundo Deportivo states that Barca are ready to let Turan go if any club is willing to pay the aforementioned amount for the player.
The Turkish player joined the Catalan club last summer in a £29m deal from Atletico Madrid and still has four more years to his contract.
The player has attracted a lot of attention from top clubs this summer most notable ones being Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund. And if reports from the Sun are to be believed then Chelsea and Arsenal are battling it out for the player’s signature. Further the reduced fee of £23m has made the club go head to head against one another as both are willing to pay the amount.
While according to the player’s agent Turan wants to stay at Spain next season, however his decision to stay will only be possible if the club too is having similar thoughts.
