Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is set to join Chelsea according to the reports from the Mirror. Chelsea have been looking to bolster their defenses this summer and hence have been looking out to bring in Koulibaly into the squad this summer.
Reports suggest that the 25-year-old player has chosen to move to Chelsea this summer and thus snubbed interest from Arsenal who were also looking to sign the player.
The player is in contract with Napoli till 2019 however he has chosen to leave the club after being unable to agree to a new deal at the club. The player will cost Chelsea around £30million and according to reports the player is close to complete the move to the Stamford Bridge, only thing standing on the way is his severance package from the Serie A club.
Antonio Conte is set to arrive at the Stamford Bridge in a week’s time and will surely be undertaking the changes that he has planned for the club to undertake his share of changes at the club.
