It has been awhile since Michy Batshuayi has been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge and now, according to the reports the Blues are close to signing the player from Marseille.
The Blues have been linked with a number of high profile players this summer, however, there has not been any signing into the squad and now Batshuayi may be the Blues’ first transfer of the season.
The player has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer after a successful season at Marseille. Further reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace both were interested in signing the player, however Chelsea seems to have hijacked the deal which is close to completion.
According to the reports from the Guardian, the Belgian player is set to undergo medical at the Stamford Bridge after which the report further claims that the 22 year old player will be signing a five year deal with the Blues.
