Chelsea are linked with many high profile players this summer, however, there have been no new signing so far into the summer by the Blues.

Chelsea target Antonio Rudiger’s injury has stopped the Blues from pursuing the player further. The player had been heavily linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge this summer, however, he ended up injuring his anterior cruciate ligament while training with Germany during Euro 2016. Rudiger, who spent last season on loan at Serie A outfit Roma, was thought to be one of Conte’s top targets this summer after an impressive season in the Italian capital.

However, Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has informed The Sport Review that Chelsea are very unlikely to sign Rudiger after the Germany defender suffered a knee ligaments injury ahead of Euro 2016.

The Blues are leading the race to sign River Plate defender Emanuel Mammana, according to the reports from the talkSPORT. The player’s displays have attracted many top clubs this summer and the Blues are reportedly the favorites in signing the player. Mammana has been capped by Argentina at senior level, but features more frequently for his country’s Under-20 side.

Further the Blues global loaning of players continues as Lewis Baker agrees to stay at Vitesse Arnhem for another season. The player was excellent last season at votes and will be staying further in Holland gaining senior football experience next term. The youngster previously had stints with Sheffield Wednesday and MK Dons.

The Blues have reportedly made a €50m bid for Spain striker Alvaro Morata. The player moved back to Real Madrid after the club activated his buy-back clause so as to sell him further in profits this summer. The club are planning to sell him on for profit this summer. Morata, who wears the no.7 shirt for Spain at the Euro 2016, has scored three goals in three in France.
