With the summer transfer window closer by the day, Chelsea are set for an interesting few months at the Stamford Bridge, as incoming manager Atonio Conte makes significant changes in the squad.
Chelsea are interested in signing Fulham youngster Moussa Dembele this summer. The player’s contract with his current club is set to expire in a month’s time and hence Dembele will be a free agent post that as there are no talks of new contract going for the player. The Blues however, will be facing competition from Arsenal for the player. Dembele almost joined Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window, but the move fell through at the last minute.
Further Manchester United are looking to sign Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta this summer. Former Chelsea boss and the current United boss has high regards for the player’s capability and considers him the right candidate to bolster his back-line. Antonio Conte is open to a transfer, though possibly not to United, as Athletic Club and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on a move.
Reports from FC Inter News claim that, Chelsea have made inquiry for Inter Milan’s Juan Jesus for a potential transfer move into the Blues this summer. The player will boost Chelsea’s defenses if he does sign, as he plays as a centre-back as well as a left-back (if required). Antonio Conte had originally targeted Antonio Rudiger, but has now moved his attention to Jesus.
