Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen may end up at Borussia Monchengladbach on a permanent move this summer. The player is currently at the Bundeliga club on a two year loan deal and has already impressed one and all with his excellent displays. Further, according to the Max Eberl, Gladbach’s sporting director, the club is ready to sign Christensen on a permanent deal.
“In the case of Christensen we are ready to make a record transfer.”- Max Eberl
Further reports suggest that the Blues will not be making Alexandre Pato’s loan deal permanent. The player joined the Blues in the second half of the last season, made only two appearances for the Blues scoring a penalty in one against Aston Villa. But the talent is unlikely to be given another chance by incoming manager Antonio Conte and may instead join Turkish outfit Fenerbahce, who are preparing an offer, according to The Sun.
“I have never quarrelled with Koulibaly. He will remain with us for another three years.”- Aurelio De Laurentiis
Chelsea have been snubbed on the face by Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis’ announcement stating that Koulibaly will be completing the remainder of his contract period at Napoli itself. Koulibaly was Chelsea’s backup plan if they fail to bring in Roma’s Kostas Manolas and Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci.
