Chelsea’s Dream Midfield Line Up To Play Under Conte Next Season Featuring This Midfield Beast

The Italian has a big task to take care of and it is safe to say that he will have to start his working immediately after his EURO Campaign with Italy.

The Stamford Bridge faithful saw an abyss time in the previous season as they saw their side going down the drain game after game. The team was supposed to defend the title, but they finished their season at somewhere in the mid-table. They had the same players who won the Premier League crown in the 2014-15 season, but this time, the players lacked concentration and most importantly, confidence.

The major task for Conte will be to refuel the confidence in the exsisting players and to convince them to stay at the club as the majority of the stars are rumoured to leave the club in the coming summer. Players like Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Azpilicueta are surely a precious possession for the side and losing them might affect the team a lot.

After all that, the Italian will have to concentrate on the transfers. The Stamford Bridge side will not be participating in either of Europe’s prime competition, therefore, they might face the rejection from several top players. It is reported that many players, especially from Serie A are the targets of the club, and to be honest, the side desperately needs to bring some new faces to the squad.

So many top names have been linked with Chelsea, and we honestly feel that the side needs to reinforce their midfield in order to challenge for the title. The absence of European football might work as an advantage for the manager to assess the entire squad. Now, as stated earlier, the manager will have to work hard to reinforce the midfield, so we bring you a dream midfield lineup for Chelsea that could do wonders in the next season.

Considering the 4-2-3-1 formation, we will start from the defensive area:

The defensive midfield area usually gets unnoticed in many games, but is an important position as the others. Now,  reports are suggesting that the London club is chasing the Belgian international Radja Nainggolan, but AS Roma’s president have denied that the Belgian will not be leaving the club.

Chelsea failed to conclude the deal for Miralem Pjanic as the Bosnian joined Juventus, and therefore, Nainggolan would be the perfect candidate to play as a holding midfielder. The 28-year-old is tough as a rock and could play an important role in Conte’s master plan for Chelsea.

In the central area, Cesc Fabregas would be the best option for the Italian and with Nainggolan at his side, he will have a much needed space in the midfield and could contribute much more than what he did last season. The Spaniard is a golden man for Chelsea and almost every attack of the team goes through him. Playing him in the centre might work wonders for the Blues.

On the flanks, a Brazilian-Belgian pair will work. Eden Hazard and Willian are one of the fastest players in the Premier League and can be proved as a major threat in the counter attacks. Hazard had a tough time last season, but coming on to the end, he regained his form and showed what damage he can do. Willian, on the other hand, was simply the best player for the Blues and lining him up on the flanks would be the best thing for Conte.

Now, coming on to the attacking area, Paul Pogba would be the perfect option for the team. The Frenchman is being desperately chased by the Blues, and they will have to break the back to bring the midfielder, but Pogba is worth every single penny. The London side would easily become one of  the most threatening side in Europe if they manage to line up with these stars.
