Edinson Cavani’s future in PSG is in doubt and there has been strong reports that the player is likely to leave the club in the summer with Chelsea one of the suitors.
Of course the 29 year old is in heavy demand across Europe and now the player himself has admitted that he admires Atletico Madrid’s approach and it is possible that he would move to the RojiBlancos. The player’s agent expects him to stay at PSG given the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic which should guarantee more game time for his client. However, last few years he has been overlooked for the main striker position and that seemed to be the reason his discontent at PSG.
While he did not want to speak at length about Atletico’s interest in him, Diego Godin, his international teammate for the Uruguay team had earlier urged Cavani to join Atletico. This comes as a blow to Chelsea, who are looking to sign a striker replacement in case Diego Costa leaves Chelsea.
