What Is Expected From The Italian Tactician When He Takes The Charge Of The Club

New manager gives new hopes to the players, fans and everyone at Chelsea. After such a dismal defense of the Premier League title, some of it has been subdued by the announcement of the new gaffer, Antonio Conte has given renewed hope for the next campaign. The highly rated Italian manager has had success at Bari and Juventus and now has the reigns of the Italian national team.
After joining the club, Conte will look to bring much needed signings which can make the blues challenging for the top again. Chelsea will be the toughest test in Conte’s career and the expectations at the blues can become a burden for him. Without European competitions at Stamford Bridge next season can work as a blessing for the blues and just concentrate on the league and also give some time to the new manager to get used to managing in a new League and know his players well.

A lot can be expected from the Italian talisman’s arrival at the club and is the right man to lead the club ahead. Competition in the league has increased many folds with the arrival of Pep Guardiola and with Jurgen Klopp settling well in Liverpool, Conte will have to outwit some of the best minds in footballing world.

A change in formation will happen for the blues along with a solid defense line drilled to perfection by the Italian. Conte has played three at the back before in Juventus too and will look to implement that sometimes at Chelsea too. Dominant yet dynamic midfield has been a feature of every Antonio Conte team and along with the present midfielders, a few additions is a must in that department.

Many new faces are expected to be brought but it will be slightly difficult without offering European football next campaign. A lot of money will be spent by the rivals too and Chelsea have to match them if a rise to the top again has to be made possible. Serie A has some world class talents available, Conte will definitely like to bring players from the league he is familiar with. Also a more dynamic personality on the touchline will be seen next season after the calm and stable tenure of Guus Hiddink.

However, Conte should not be judged instantly because some time will be needed to get adjusted in a new country and a new League. New signings would also need some time to get used to the life in London. A title challenge straight after a horrific season should not be expected and it will be unfair for the new manager to work wonders instantly. A top four finish and a good cup run should be an ideal target for Conte and if he achieves that, it can serve as a base for the future under the Italian.
