Chelsea Goalkeeper Wants To Stay At Stamford Bridge Despite Interest From Several Clubs

Chelsea goalkeeper Marco Amelia has stated that he is happy at the Stamford Bridge and wants to continue his career with the club.

Amelia moved to Chelsea on 8 October 2015 on a free transfer, on a deal until the end of the season, with the team adding him as a back-up goalkeeper to Asmir Begović due to an injury to Thibaut Courtois, but has not appeared for the first team since then.

It is reported that the incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants Amelia to stay and work with the club’s academy goalkeepers.

“I am talking with the club to continue here,” Amelia told Radio Deejay.

“I am happy with the experience in [England].”
