Twitter Reacts As Conte Is Officially Announced As Chelsea Manager

BBC has confirmed that Chelsea have officially signed Antonio Conte as their manager and the Italian will join club immediately after the Euros.

“I am proud to be the coach of the national team of my country and only a role as attractive as manager of Chelsea could follow that,” he said.

Conte will replace interim coach Guus Hiddink, who was appointed after Jose Mourinho’s sacking earlier in the season. The Current Italian head coach has signed a three year deal with the Blues.

“We are very pleased to have recruited one of the most highly regarded managers in world football,” said Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

“We are equally pleased to do so before the end of the current season. This aids our future planning.”
