As per Metro, Chelsea are in pole positon to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan in the summer transfer window. The player was a name that has been linked with Chelsea ever since Conte was speculated to take over the Blues but now with Conte’s appointment confirmed, the link is looking more real as time passes.
The 27 year old has made 101 appearances for AS Roma since 2014 in which he has scored 10 goals so far. The report states that the Chelsea officials have met with Remy Abbas, player’s agent, and Walter Sabatini, club’s director in London to complete the talks. A fee of £28.2 million is said to be on the table.
Antonio Conte, being an Italian, has been linked with several Serie A player in the summer. While many of them may be just rumors, Nainggolan deal looks to be real from all the reports that has arisen.
