According to report from Daily Mirror, Chelsea will not sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton in the summer. The 22 year old Belgian left Stamford Bridge last year and the Blues are reluctant to sign him back so quickly.
The youngster Lukaku has impressed since joining Everton and 60 goals in his total premier league career speaks volume about his talents. However the reason why he was being linked heavily with a move back to Chelsea was the speculation regarding Diego Costa’s future. Now the Spaniard has apparently changed his mind and is not going to push for an exit from Stamford Bridge. This has reduced the need for Chelsea to look for a quality striker in the summer.
There was a report that Antonio Conte holds Lukaku in high regard and will want a move for the player but now the recent report from Daily Mirror, states that the club is unlikely to back the Italian manager for any such move.
