Abel Ruiz is reported to be one of the biggest talents in Barcelona’s youth academy and Blues are interested to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The 16-year-old and a Under-16 international for Spain, apparently also had a talk with Arsenal as per Daily Mirror. Barcelona is also said to be preparing a professional contract to offer to the player. In spite of the competition, Chelsea are hopeful of luring the youngster to London and add to their impressive list of wonder kids.
Chelsea are currently in the middle of a rebuild and for the past few seasons have been bringing in young talented player for their youth team with the aim of making a homegrown team in the future. However the short-term ambition of Roman Abramovich has come into the way of it as seen from the sacking of Andres Villas Boas. Now with Antonio Conte rumored to be the new Chelsea boss, we will wait and see in which direction the club moves.
