According to Daily Star, Chelsea are preparing to launch a massive attempt to sign Paul Pogba. The club is certain to get Antonio Conte as their manager next season and the player, having previously played under the Italian, is expected to be willing to move to London.
The 22 France international is a graduate from the academy of Manchester United and is well versed with English culture. Ever since moving to Juventus from United he has turned into a world class midfielder and is also wanted by other European giants such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City. While Barcelona is speculated to have cooled their interest in the player City and Madrid are still chasing Pogba’s signature.
The player had earlier mentioned that he would like to work under Pep Guardiola making Manchester City his likely destination but Chelsea are hoping that the presence of Antonio Conte will be able to divert the player’s preference. Moreover the Blues are willing to offer Pogba £300,000 a week.
