Deal Done: Simeone Agrees Chelsea Move; Club Star Ignites Transfer Speculation – Chelsea Latest

Eden Hazard of Chelsea has again sparked a transfer speculation and rumor about his future. The 25 year old signed from Lille in 2012 and since then has become a household name around Stamford Bridge.

His fantastic performance last season won him the Player of the year award and also has gathered attention from Real Madrid and PSG. There have been a lot of speculation about his future this season with Chelsea looking unlikely to play Champions League next season and the Belgian keen to play CL may want to leave the club.

Now in an interview to Le Parisien Hazard has said that it will be difficult for him to turn down PSG. “[It is] difficult to say no to PSG, or to any of the teams capable of winning the Champions League. PSG are now in that category. And for me, winning the Champions League is my main aim.” said Hazard.

He tried to back down from the statement later saying that he has a contract till 2020 and not really looking for a move but his admiration for PSG is clear. Also with Chelsea not doing too well this season and Hazard having come from a different country and league; loyalty from him during the lean periods is not really expected.

In other news, Spanish publication OK Diario, have confirmed that Diego Simeone will replace the current interim manager Guus Hiddink as the permanent manager.

The report claims that the Argentine manager has agreed a lucrative contract with the Blues and is set to earn a massive £9.28m-per-season. And it’s been suggested that Simeone has already informed his players that he is leaving for London at the end of the current season.
