Chelsea To Go Crazy In The January Window! Another Left Back To Arrive At The Bridge?

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Premier League champions Chelsea are desperate to sign Valencia’s wonder kid defender Jose Gaya, when the transfer window opens once again in January. These reports also state that owner Roman Abramovich has backed the move, after the Blues did not have the best of starts to the new campaign.

The 20-year-old defensive superstar is considered as one of the best youngsters in Europe at the moment and is an integral part of the first-team setup for the La Liga giants. He has played 35 league games last term, in a season which saw them qualify for the Champions League.

Gaya has a release clause of €49m in his current contract and with Real Madrid also linked with the player, Chelsea may need to pay a crazy fee to sign this rising star from La Liga
