New deals for youngsters

Excellent news coming from HQ is that Nathaniel Chalobah, George Saville, and Adam Phillip have all signed new contracts.

The news about Saville had already been released but Chalobah and Phillip are new news. Chalobah’s deal was a formality as it’s his first professional contract, which will tie him to the club until 2014 – he was an unused substitute on the Chelsea bench against Wolves.

Phillip on the other hand had started to show promise and was expecting to go out on loan this season but after a couple of serious injuries there were question marks over the player’s future, but his new will see him stay at the club until the end of next season, giving him an opportunity to get fit and show the management team what he’s capable of.

Congratulations to all three players, hopefully they will continue to develop and we will see them in the first team in the near future.
