Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua have said they are in talks to sign Didier Drogba.
It has been highly publicised that the 33-year-old has rejected a one-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
His old strike parter Nicolas Anelka left the Blues last night for Shenhua, he got a lurative two-year deal – just what Drog is looking for.
There have been rumours thar Shenhua’s rivals Dalian Aerbin have offered the big man a package of £200,000 a week but so far he remains a Chelsea player.
Andre Villas-Boas was keen for Drogba to sign a new contract, but the man whose away at the Africa Cup of Nations and is now free to negotiate with other clubs as his contract runs out of the season.
