Blues off on hols …

Andre Villas-Boas is taking his players off on a five-day break to Majorca next week.

The idea of the ‘holiday’ is to boost team morale ahead of the final few months of the season, rather interestingly this was where the legendary Brian Clough used to take his teams for a mid-season break.

The Portuguese tactician wants to keep his lads away from the press ahead of the FA cup fourth round with neighbours QPR.

With John Terry facing criminal charges and the ongoing FA investigation after alleged racial insult towards Anton Ferdinand when the two sides met in October, Rangers are expected to have more stewards n duty this time.

Whilst the team are in Spain, Villas-Boas will still make sure the team trains hard but they will get some down time.
