Queens Park Rangers have made an improved offer of around £3.5m for Brazilian defender Alex.
On Thursday they made an initial offer of £2m but this was rejected.
Alex has also been linked with a return home to Brazil, but he conveniently lives near Ranger’s training ground and hIs advisor is Kia Joorabchian, the same as new Rs’ boss Mark Hughes.
