Chelsea odds on for Everton victory

Chelsea don’t have a terrific record against Everton but are unlikely to come unstuck against the Toffees now that they are finding top gear.
The bookies make the Blues 1.36 shots to win, but the game is likely to be tighter than the odds suggest as they have won only one of their last nine Premier League meetings with David Moyes’ side –  drawing six of the remaining eight encounters.
However Andres Villa-Boas side have won nine and lost none of their last 10 Premier League games at home and come into the game on the back of crushing wins over Swansea and Bolton.
They are really beginning to find their stride, whereas their opponents have lost their last two games against Man City and Liverpool and don’t have the same firepower at their disposal.
The Merseysiders have struggled to pick up victories wherever they head in London of late, with eight trips having come and gone since they last headed home with maximum points.
Another interesting stat that points towards a victory for Chelsea is that no Premier League fixture has ever seen six consecutive draws, so the odds are stacked against Everton being able to grind out another share of the spoils.
Chelsea may well be without Fernando Torres, who is serving the second instalment of his three-match ban, but in Didier Drogba have a striker who simply loves scoring against Everton.
He has netted in seven of his last nine PL matches against them, and that makes the standout 5 on offer with bet365 about him bagging the opener look a real bit of value.
The Drog is generally odds-on to score at any time during the 90 minutes, but Victor Chandler go odds-against at 2.05 and that looks a cracking punt given his record for those who like that extra little bit of security.
I am also going to suggest backing Chelsea to win to nil despite the fact that they have gone five six games without a clean sheet.
It’s not as mad you think at 2.2 with bet365, as they have not had a run of seven without a shutout since September 2003 and I am sure that the gaffer will have it as one of his priorities to win without conceding.
A 2-0 home victory is my idea of the outcome, and that can be backed 6.5 with bet365 and Paddy Power.
