Manchester got it wrong – They will fight and burn

If a wonderful start wins the league, then last season we would have been champions. There is so much excitement in the air with both Manchester teams winning their first three games home and away.                                                                                                                                                                                
A bright start is good, but to win the league is going to require something more – Momentum, and believe we can win the league because of the rush and tangle between the Manchester teams. They will fight themselves till they burn, they will score all their goals and use their initiative while we sneak past them.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
Before the International break I rated both teams above us due to their reinforcements, but now I can actually see where they are going to get it wrong. They are going to throw the title away by getting carried away thinking it’s a Manchester derby.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
What we lacked last year was depth, something that Andre Villas-Boas has addressed. With the signing of Davila and one or two more players coming in, I think we are actually going to be the team to beat if AVB calms down and plays his cards correctly.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
There is no use in panicking or joining in the duel, let’s just win our games efficiently and build a formidable team. Let’s not try to win by destroying opponents us it will draw unnecessary attention to ourselves. Let’s just win the dutiful and efficient way and then we will be top.                                                                                                                                                                                                        
In recent years, Man U have won titles by starting slowly, but now they are running ahead of themselves not realizing the detriment. Their players may become overconfident, excited, or burn out. They are currently running a marathon at full speed, they have got it wrong this time and this is why I now see how we can seize the moment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
I WAS JUST EXPECTING US TO BUILD A NEW TEAM THIS SEASON, BUT NOW IT’S OBVIOUS TO ME THAT THE LEAGUE IS OURS TO WIN.

  2. Last years lack of depth will be filled with Davila mate? A 20 year old Mexican (who is currently on loan at Vitesse by the way) ? That is your best argue to say ''we are actually going to be the team to beat'' ?

  5. I agree with this article but not so fanatically, yes i do believe we have a good chance to win the league not im positive we are going to win the league. As the article says look at last year our first two games we won 6-0 in both of them, but we didn't win the league. Ok 8-2 agaisnt arsenal is outstanding but as its been shown any team can score a lot of goals if they are playing well and the othr team are playing awful, look at bolton they won 4-0 in one game dosnt mean there going to win the league. Then as for our games lets be honest we have been pretty poor in all three games but we have still walked away with 7 points and as they say in football the best teams win even if they are playing bad. My hope is that with man utd they have lost a lot of experience and game winners and replaced with players that play brilliant when its easy but our anonymous in the big games. As for city i still think there are to many big personalities and they will crumble towards the end. As for us (chelsea) we haven't lost any big players other than essein to injury but we have bought in players that give us depth and a different dimension and i believe we will add to that in January plus now we are the underdogs and we always do better when we are thats why i believe we have a very good chance of winning.
