Despite rumours linking AC Milan’s star striker Alexandre Pato with a move to Stamford Bridge the transfer looks unlikely.
It was thought that the Blues were going to offer £20 million, plus either Nicolas Anelka or Salomon Kalou.
The talented Brazilian striker does not seem keen on a move away from the Italian champions, he told Corriere dello Sport: “I have a contract with Milan until the summer of 2014, and I want to respect that.
Before implying he has no intention of ever leaving Milan: “I want to stay at least until then.”
The alleged rejection, adds to a tricky transfer window for Andre Villas-Boas who has seen Tottenham reject moves for Luka Modric and Javier Pastore opt for a move to PSG.
