Chelsea are once again up against PSG, this time it is for £25m-rated Porto wing back Alvaro Pereira.
Following Yuri Zhirkov’s move to Anzhi Makhachkala last week for £13 million, it is thought that Andre Villas-Boas is keen to bring in a replacement.
Uruguay international Pereira fits the bill, he was was a regular at under AVB at Porto, but the 25-year-old has a £25million buy-out clause.
Liverpool had previously shown interest but were put off by the asking price, with PSG showing interest it means that the Portuguese club will be able to get the best possible price if they decide to sell.
