Chelsea FC News: Blues find a way to deal with the transfer ban as they hold talks with La Liga giants

Chelsea in talks with Real Madrid regarding Mateo Kovacic

Chelsea are in talks with Real Madrid regarding the loan extension of Mateo Kovacic, according to Marca. The Croatian midfielder struggled to get his place with the Los Blancos despite being immensely talented.

It then forced Kovacic to make a move to Stamford Bridge to get more playing time. The 25-year-old’s impact with the Blues has been great and has found his name as a regular under Maurizio Sarri.

He has played 41 matched across all competitions and bagged 2 assists to his name. With the Croatian’s loan spell nearing its end, the Blues are keen on extending his spell.
