Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is interested in signing Federico Chiesa and could make a move in January, as per the Express.
The 20-year-old Fiorentina star has attracted attention from a number of clubs. A report from The Express says that Juventus saw a £50million bid rejected for the right-winger.
Chiesa is one of the brightest players in the Serie A and Express claims Napoli are interested in the Italian too. However, Sarri will not give up on signing the player, as Napoli would be unable to compete with the financial power of Premier League clubs. (Express)
The Italian attacker also claimed that a club had bid a huge amount for him but he decided to stay at Florence.
Speaking to Corriere Della Sera (h/t Express) the 20-year-old said:
“Fiorentina refused offers of £63 million.
“The summer has been peaceful, there were no anxieties related to the market because, in agreement with the club, I decided that I would stay in Florence.”
Chelsea have one of the best wingers in world football in Eden Hazard. Bringing a talented wide player on the other flank could be a great move.

Chiesa has a bright future ahead of him but he needs to work under the right manager to reach his potential. The youngster might not start every game for us should he join. However, Sarri could be the perfect foil to make him a world-beater.
