Chelsea ready to use on-loan superstar to land former Liverpool flop

Premier League giants Chelsea have expressed an interest in AC Milan attacker Suso, as per a report from Calciomercato.

Chelsea loaned out Tiemoue Bakayoko to AC Milan in the summer transfer window as he failed to perform for the Blues after joining them from AS Monaco last summer. Milan have an agreement to turn Bakayoko’s temporary switch into a permanent deal, provided all parties are satisfied.

However, if the Frenchman does not impress at Milan, he will head back to Chelsea where he will face a fight to revive his career.

On the other hand, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could take advantage of his club’s connections with Milan, strengthened by Bakayoko’s loan move, in order to lure Suso to Stamford Bridge, reports Calciomercato. It remains to be seen how open Milan would be to such an idea.

Since moving to the Serie A, Suso has become a star for Milan. He failed to impress for Liverpool and was sold to AC Milan in 2015 and in a couple of years’ time, Suso has become a regular starter for the Italian outfit. The last two seasons combined have seen Suso rack up 13 goals and 16 assists in 69 Serie A outings.

Suso could be an exciting signing for our club. The Spaniard has unfinished business in England, having failed to breakthrough at Liverpool and if Chelsea come up with an offer, he could join us next summer.
