The Metro claims Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are interested in Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard scored the winner in our 3-2 triumph over Arsenal and the report adds that the Blues are desperate to keep hold of Alonso.
Chelsea cannot sign players since the Premier League transfer window is closed but the Blues can sell to some European leagues until the end of the month.
Signing a replacement for Alonso would not be possible before the January transfer window, but with two La Liga sides circling for the Spanish star, a few Chelsea fans shared their reactions.
We still need him more right now….@marcosalonso03 he’s a great football player

He is too slow to be a fullback and his defensive positioning is very poor make him an attacker at least not fullback

Real Madrid has seen what many of us don’t see in Alonso. He is a very good player.

People seriously need to relax when talking about Marcos Alonso. The man has the best technique and technical ability out of all defenders in the league. #cfc #chelsea #alonso

Loooooooooooooooooooooool. I love him but if Sarri doesn’t have plans for him and Alonso wants the move don’t see why he shouldn’t go.

I hate Alonso’s defending but I hate losing players to Madrid even more. So that’s a no from me.
