Valencia are looking to sign Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea, according to the Mirror. The Belgian spent half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund as he sealed a place in the Belgium World Cup squad.
Batshuayi struggled for starts under Antonio Conte last season but was in fine form for the Bundesliga side. The striker scored 9 times in just 14 games before picking up an injury in April, which cut his season short.
The report claims that Valencia are trying to sign the youngster and they play in the Champions League, which could attract the 24-year-old. Chelsea only finished 5th last season and would be playing in the Europa League.
Even though we have Maurizio Sarri at the helm, Chelsea must add to their attacking options this summer, meaning Batshuayi should exit to secure regular game time.
The 24-year-old hasn’t always been given a fair run of games to prove himself. He could turn the manager in his favour during the pre-season and that could ensure he remains at the Bridge. Additionally, Batshuayi was in great form for Dortmund, so he could turn up the style for us in the coming campaign.

The Belgian would have to impress the boss a lot to ensure he gets first-team football at Stamford Bridge this season. Maybe, a loan move to Valencia would be the ideal solution for both parties.
