Spanish giants return with an improved bid of £55m for Chelsea star

Willian

Sky Sports claims that Barcelona have returned with a third bid for Chelsea star Willian, which is greater than £55m.

Barcelona had sent a second offer for the Brazilian winger which was stated to be around £53m and the report claims that talks are still underway between the two clubs and the representatives of the attacker.

The Brazilian was one of the best players in the Premier League last season but was not in the starting XI in the FA Cup against Manchester United.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to United too but it would make more sense for us to sell him to a club outside England.

While Willian might be 29, he can still do a decent job and him working for Maurizio Sarri could pay dividends. But it seems like he wants to move away soon.

The 29-year-old also took part in the World Cup but could not take Brazil far enough as they were knocked out of the competition at the hands of Belgium.

Even with Sarri in the side, it seems we are struggling to keep hold of some of our best players. Replacing Willian would be a little tough given how much work he does for the team. He has always given it his all whenever he has turned out for the Blues.

Barcelona might be a great option for him as he is guaranteed to win titles with the Catalan club and joining the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez could be a tasty prospect for the South American.
