The Sun reports that Chelsea are planning a raid for Manchester City’s English keeper Joe Hart. The report claims that the Blues would be willing to part with £5million.
Courtois has been linked with a big money move to Real Madrid and had even said that Eden Hazard must join him should he leave Stamford Bridge.
Hart, for his part, spent last season on loan at West Ham United but could not get much done and wasn’t even the No.1 as he was replaced by Adrian.
The Chelsea management, apparently, are admirers of the 31-year-old Hart and even Maurizio Sarri is keen on a move for the player as he is a cheap option and will increase the home-grown player count at Stamford Bridge.
However, this deal would certainly upset a number of fans as Hart hasn’t enjoyed the greatest of forms since being replaced at Manchester City.
The keeper spent time in Italy too but his stint with Torino was also marred by numerous errors. Playing for West Ham could not salvage his season as he was not picked for the World Cup.
Chelsea might have problems in keeping players but we cannot sign anyone who is not good enough for the club. Hart could do a job for a club that is not in the top-six and us spending any sort of money on him and expecting him to be the No.1 would be a disaster.

We need to stay away from the Englishman and think about other keepers if we are to replace Courtois between the sticks.
