Maurizio Sarri has taken over from the sacked Antonio Conte at Chelsea and the Express claims that the new Italian manager has targetted three players to bring to Stamford Bridge.
The report claims that we have made a bid of £30m for Juventus central defender Daniele Rugani. The two other players we are looking at include Russia’s World Cup star Aleksandr Golovin and AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
The trio would certainly add quality to our side next season as we do need to freshen some things up. However, there must be concern from the fans that the club will not have a lot of time to thrash deals out.
We have less than a month before the transfer window closes in England and have still not signed one new player for the upcoming campaign.
In all probability, we might have been waiting for Sarri to take over the management of the club before making a move in the window and we should be looking to work quickly to close some deals.

Rugani, Golovin and Alisson are all young and can grow under Sarri. They would be smart signings, though Alisson’s price could be a tad high.
Either way, it has been a tough post-season for the Blues with all the stories of Conte leaving and the management not seeing eye to eye with the Italian. The fans will expect a better time under Sarri and also expect a lot of success from the former Napoli man.
