Chelsea make new plans to sort out Eden Hazard’s future amidst Real Madrid links

With Los Blancos below par in La Liga this season, they are expected to undergo a squad overhaul during the summer and Hazard is one of their main targets.

Hazard has long been admired by the Madrid hierarchy and it now appears that the Spanish giants could make a move in the summer. We are currently in danger of missing out on next season’s Champions League as we currently sit in 5th position in the Premier League standings and two points adrift of 4th placed Tottenham following our 2-1 defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.

If we do fail to qualify for Europe’s premier Club competition next season, it could prove to be difficult in terms of keeping Hazard settled. Hazard has been a key player for us since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2012 and has matured into one of the leaders in the side.

Even though we have been largely disappointing this season, it is Hazard who has been regularly churning out quality performances.

We are, however, now making an attempt to try and keep Hazard at Stamford Bridge and are prepared to offer him wages of around £300,000-a-week. If he accepts the offer, he will become the highest paid player in our club’s history.

Following Neymar’s world-record transfer from Barcelona to PSG last summer, clubs are now aware and are prepared to fork out massive sums of money for players.

We will naturally be very hesitant to sell Hazard as he is one of our best players in the team. However, if we are forced to sell him, he will likely leave for a sum of £200million.

A good price I’d say but it would be really difficult to replace him as he is truly world class.
