While Antonio Conte might be known for his defensive solidarity, the Italian manager us busy shoring up his attacking options for the coming season. With Diego Costa’s future uncertain and no other match winning striker in the squad, it comes as no surprise that Conte is monitoring numerous Strikers to add to his arsenal.
He is expected to bring in atleast 2 new strikers in the current transfer window and one player who has surprisingly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Liverpool’s Christian Benteke. Benteke endured a tough first season at Anfield after his big money move from Aston Villa and many fans and pundits believe the Belgian does not have a future at the club with Sturridge, Origi and a fit again Ings ahead of him in the pecking order.
A move to Chelsea could help the Belgian striker rejuvenate his career and the striker might be forced to reconsider his future at Anfield should Conte push for the deal.
