Alexandre Pato joined Chelsea in the January window in order to add up to the Blues’ attack. But as per Joao Carlos Assumpcao, the Brazilian is set to go back to Corinthians already. The deal was supposed to last till summer but if the report is true it will be over in a few days’ time.
Chelsea has stabilized their attack with Costa playing well currently and the presence of Loic Remy and Bertrand Traore has pushed Pato down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. Also considering that Chelsea are already out of Champions League and FA Cup, they have very less to play for this season. The Premier League champions are not even close to the fourth spot and given the level of competition in the league they will unlikely finish in top four position. These events have caused Assumpcao to deduce that Pato will be sent back to his parent club.
