Leroy Sane is one of Europe’s most wanted player and Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, City, Barcelona and Real Madrid all are said to be interested in signing the youngster. However a report from The Sun says that Chelsea are leading the race to land the £40 million wonder kid from Schalke 04.
A left winger by trade, the player is well known for dribbling and having superb speed. Apparently he has been recommended to the club owner Roman Abramovich. It is expected that the Blues will bid for the player in the summer but is not going to be straight forward. There will be competition from the rivals as per the report.
Blues are currently recapturing their form under Guus Hiddink and the manager will leave at the end of the season. It is very unlikely that Chelsea will qualify for Champions League and many of their players may leave. In such case a youngster like Sane is definitely a wonderful option for Stamford Bridge.
