Jiangsu Suning, the Chinese Super League team had made an enormous £58 million offer for Oscar. However the Chelsea fans can breathe easy for now as the bid has been rejected by the Blues.
The report came from ESPN Brasil, who interviewed Giuliano Bertolucci, Oscar’s agent, and the he has confirmed that the Chinese club indeed bid for the Brazilian that huge amount of money. Bertolucci is also Ramires’ agent who recently made a move to the same Chinese club. He is one of the main catalyst for many of the Brazilian players moving to China and has been part of the large deals that take place in Brazil.
While Oscar’s departure has been ruled out for the time being, the same cannot be said in the summer. It may not be a Chinese club but there is a possibility that we may see several players like Oscar, Hazard, Costa leave the club in search of Champions League football.
