Not Luke Shaw: Could This Man Be Chelsea’s Solution At Left-Back?

Ashley Cole has been a superb servant to Chelsea over the years, but this season hasn’t been one to remember for the England international. The former Arsenal left-back has lost his place in the first team due to the fine form of Cesar Azpilicueta and because of the timing – the World Cup is just around the corner – and the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season, his career could be unravelling before our eyes.

Mourinho Puts Cole Future In Doubt, But Should The England International Be Playing?

They look to now be running out of steam, though – how they’d love the now-Napoli striker at the club. Well, their London rivals have now been linked with a move for him, which would really rub the salt in the wounds of the Gunners after they snatched top spot from them.
