The Blues will be without the suspended Didier Drogba who was sent off against QPR last week.

Andre Villas-Boas will be delighted to welcome back Fernando Torres who has completed his three-game ban following his red card against Swansea and Ramires is fit after his knee injury.

Arsenal haver received some good news as they welcome Thomas Vermaelen from injury, he is set for his first league game since August.

The left-back position is causing Arsene Wenger problems, Carl Jenkinson faces a late fitness test but Kieran Gibbs will miss out as he is still injured.

Head-to-head

When Arsenal beat the Blues 3-1 at the Emirates last December was their first win in six games against Chelsea.

In the last 19 games Chelsea have only lost three against the Gunners  in all competitions.

Arsenal have lost 2-0 in their last two Premier League visits to Stamford Bridge.

Betting

The Blues are 7/10 to beat Arsenal, but will be without Drogba who has a habit of scoring against Wenger’s team, meanwhile the away team are a very generous 5s to win.

Fernando Torres is highly likely to start and is 5s to open the scoring, whilst the Gooner’s form man Robin van Persie is 17/2.

This is likely to be a tight affair, for under 2.5 goals you can get 23/20 and if you think it will go the other way the best odds are 13/20.

For the game to be all square at half-time and for Chelsea to go on and win it you can get 4s.
