Rumours – Lamps to get new deal, Blues to bid for Barley and Cahill

Super Frankie needs no introduction; he has proved his quality over the last decade that he has been a Blue. I believe Lamps has the quality to play for more years.

During the summer transfer window, there were strong rumours that we made several bids for Gary Cahill so I knew this story wouldn’t die. Finally, I don’t see what is special about Ross Barkley; I believe he is hyped because he is English.

Crunch Sports says we are about to launch a bid for Ross Barkley.

Mirror Football reveals Ross Barkley is on our January wish list.

Crunch Sports says we will launch a £14million for Cahill.

Goal.com reveals Lamps new deal will see him play till 2015.

ESPNStar highlights Lamps professionalism as part reason for new deal proposal.

  1. 'I don’t see what is special about Ross Barkley'? Have you ever seen the lad play? I very much doubt it otherwise you wouldn't make such a stupid statement! This lad is about to break onto the Premiership scene within the next 12 months. He is a HUGE talent and whichever top club gets him will have a top quality ENGLISH midfielder for a long time to come. David Moyes, his scouting staff, his training coaches and staff along with a host of top Premiership Managers and scouts know that this lad is the real deal and due to become the next 'Rooney' in his midfield position. Chelsea are showing real ambition and foresight in putting in for Ross Barkley and his capture would be a brilliant long term piece of business for the club.

  2. I love lamps, I don't think he is past his time, but I do think he should be rested a bit more. But he can stil score and rip apart defences. Wouldn't mind him dying at chelsea. As for Barkly, yes he is good but what about McEachren? The more midfielders we sign the further down the pekking order he goes and I truely think he has the potential to be the next Xavi of world football!! He just needs some experiance, I would love for him to go out on loan for a season or two! Cahill would, at 25, would be greate signing although we do have JT, Luiz, Branislav, Alex and let's not forget about Bruma. Up CHELSEA
